“Learning Love, Experiencing Emotions, Letting Children Grow Happily and Holistically” Parent Education Program

Overview:
The key development goal for the 2023-2024 academic year is to “enhance parent education, promote school-family collaboration, and work together to facilitate children’s learning.” Therefore, our center, in collaboration with the Faculty of Education at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, is organizing a parent education program. We hope to help parents understand parenting strategies and methods for communicating with their children through a series of workshops.

Objectives:
– To help parents learn effective discipline and communication methods to establish harmonious family relationships.
– To help parents aware of the importance of personal physical and mental health, encouraging them to love themselves and their families.
– To encourage parents to use diverse learning strategies (such as games and picture books) to nurture their children’s healthy and holistic development.
– To unite the strength of parents to assist in promoting school-family collaboration and jointly facilitate children’s learning.
